There are 16 members of the Sentencing Council including judges, prosecutors and criminal defence lawyers, victims' advocates and police, as well as representatives from the community.

Retired judicial officer

Chairperson, NSW Sentencing Council since 2012; 2006-2009.

Chairperson, State Parole Authority, since 2014.

Chairperson, NSW Law Reform Commission 2006-2014.

Chief Judge of the Common Law Division of the NSW Supreme Court, 1998-2005  (Judge, since 1984).
